This Privacy Policy explains how Ladder VPN (referred to as 'the Service,' 'we,' or 'us') collects, uses, stores, and protects necessary information when you download, install, access, or use our mobile and desktop applications (the 'App').

When you launch the App or connect to a node, we may process necessary operational data such as IP address, device operating system, app version, connection time, selected node, error logs, and in-app navigation. This data is used to: 1. recommend suitable nodes and connection options; 2. analyze anonymized connection quality trends to improve Ladder VPN stability; 3. send essential security notices, service changes, or account messages. We do not use this information to build personal browsing profiles.

We only share aggregated or anonymized data with trusted third-party service providers when necessary, such as crash analytics, app distribution, payment processing, and infrastructure monitoring. Except as described here, we do not share personally identifiable information unless: 1. required by applicable law, court order, or regulatory process; 2. necessary to prevent fraud, abuse, attacks, or safety risks; 3. working with service providers bound by confidentiality obligations to operate the Service. If you uninstall the App, it will stop generating new local operational data.

User-submitted data is retained while the account is active and for a reasonable retention period afterward. Ladder VPN is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from that group; if such data is discovered, we will delete it promptly. We use access controls, encrypted transmission, and operational audits to protect information.
